見えていない場所でも太陽は燃え続け、世界に命を与えています。
けれど、私たちは太陽が見えない時に、本当に燃えているのかを確かめることはできません。
月が静かに輝いている間、太陽はもしかすると休息しているのかもしれない──。
そんな想像と空想を重ねて描いた作品です。
この作品には、対となる「三日月」という作品が存在します。
二つでひとつの世界観を構成していますが、「三日月」は既にご購入者様のもとへ旅立ちました。
見えないものを信じること。

At night, the sun’s light no longer reaches us,
and instead, the moon reflects its glow to illuminate the darkness.
Even in places we cannot see, the sun continues to burn,
sustaining life throughout the world.
Yet when the sun is out of sight,
we have no way of truly knowing whether it still burns as it does by day.
While the moon quietly shines,
perhaps the sun, somewhere beyond our view, is at rest—
This piece was created from such imagination and quiet speculation.
There exists a counterpart to this work titled “Crescent Moon,”
forming a unified world when paired together.
However, that piece has already found its way to its collector.
To believe in what cannot be seen—
this work invites you to feel the beauty that exists within such uncertainty.
